**Postdoctoral researcher position (f/m/d)**:
- We are looking for a highly motivated postdoctoral scientist to work with us. Our multidisciplinary team has access to different experimental facilities, including scalp EEG and invasive recordings (LFPs, ECoG). Our research is mainly focused on studying the effects of deep brain stimulation (DBS) using electrophysiological and behavioural recordings in humans (focus on patients with Parkinson’s disease, Essential Tremor, Major Depression and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorders). Duration: 12 months with possible prolongation.**We offer**:

**Your position** would involve collaboration with an external industrial partner focused on neural implant software/hardware, and additionally would also allow you to focus on your own research interests within the DBS field, including freedom to develop follow-up research questions and acquisition of funding. The position will require conducting experiments in patients, and therefore a good verbal and written communication skills is a prerequisite. A strong collaboration with other research groups and initiatives is envisioned (Donders Center at Radboud University, University of Mainz, EuroDBS alliance,).**Your profile**:
- a PhD in neuroscience, biomedical engineering, computer science, or related fields. Please still contact us if you are about to conclude your PhD or in the thesis writing process
- experience with neural activity recordings in humans
- strong expertise in time-series signal processing (ideally EEG, EMG, ECoG, LFP data)
- experience in development and software implementation of experimental paradigms
- good knowledge of Python/Matlab
- excellent interpersonal skills
- adequate record of peer-reviewed scientific publications
- excellent communication and organizational skills
**Nice to have**:
- experience with brain-computer interfaces and/or neuromodulation approaches
- experience in dealing with patients in a clinical setting
