**Description**:
**Role title: Core Platforms & Testing Specialist (f/m/d)**

**Reports to: Team Manager Solution Architecture Core Platforms & Testing**
**Location: Germany (Ratingen)**

**Role purpose**:
The role encompasses the responsibility of Office IT Infrastructure Services, like IaaS (EdgeCloud / Integration & Technology Center), on-prem and Cloud monitoring (SCOM / Azure Monitor), auditing (Change Auditor), MS Office 365 license management and reporting, and further. The role provides the required capabilities to enable Office IT services worldwide ensuring high-end quality. Furthermore, the role ensures a secure go-live in alignment with Vodafone compliance framework and global policies, like Cyber security controls (CSB), privacy, SOX, etc., to protect Vodafone’s business and workforce productivity.

The role owner ensures top-class service through consistent life cycle management and professional solution/service ownership. The specialist is responsible for the solution design and 24/7 operations. He/she ensures SLA adherence for his services by providing solution documentation and transferring knowledge to the interfaces in the process chain (enabling helpdesks and suppliers to deliver a world-class service). Additionally, the role owner is responsible for proper capacity management and budget planning for the services.

**Job Responsibility**:
**Key accountabilities and decision ownership**:

- Accountable in terms of technology and functionality for owned solutions in all local markets and group entities.
- Ensuring excellent service delivery and driving optimisation and standardisation from service and cost perspective.
- End-to-end accountable for the entire lifecycle of the chosen products and accountable for adjusting and changing the services according to new business or cost optimisation requirements
- Maintaining a good relationship to the vendors involved in the delivery of the solutions and assuring that these vendors meet their defined and agreed KPIs.
- Advocate the service, drive the marketing of dedicated solutions, and support all service-related projects.
- Accountable for ensuring that customer requirements are understood and providing consultancy to both internal and external stakeholders so that the goals of quality, efficiency, and costs are consistently achieved.

**Core competencies, knowledge and experience**:

- Ability to communicate to global stakeholders/ SLT´s and across international and distributed teams
- Strong Active Directory, IT Operations and/or Services Management background (> 5 years of experience in large environments > 50,000 users)
- Familiar with IT Services (e.g., server services, Cloud, security)
- In-depth knowledge of managed services and third parties

**Must have technical/professional qualifications**:

- ITIL Foundation
- Microsoft Windows
- Microsoft Active Directory / Azure AD
- Scripting languages (PowerShell)

**Key performance indicators**:

- Vodafone-wide responsibilities for solutions/services are defined, and a global communication matrix is in place.
- Global policies, strategy, and roadmap is in place
- Yearly security and risk assessment of solution
