Director of Diodes

This opportunity is a rare chance to take that next step into the Senior Leadership Team of a major player in the manufacture of passive electronic components in Germany. My client is looking for a Director of their Diodes Business Unit, who will specialise in building high-level, strategic business relationships and drive all commercial and contract negotiation across the Diodes BU, with major customers such as, Tesla, Siemens, Bosch and Continental.

**Tasks**:

- Leading the European regional marketing team for MOSFETs
- Responsible for tactical & strategic marketing to achieve growth targets
- Definition and implementation of product strategies for short-term and long-term goals in close cooperation with the division
- Sales and margin responsibility
- Pricing and regional pricing strategy as well Preparation and execution of annual negotiations
- Promoting business growth through product promotion and customer development in coordination with the sales / business development teams
- Supporting our European customer base both technically and commercially
- Participating in the definition and preparation of the budget for sales and profit development
- Product presentations and training for sales and customers
- Creation of market, customer and competition analyses

**Requirements**:

- Successfully completed studies in electronics / physics or similar (or comparable level of training)
- Relevant professional experience in a comparable position in the semiconductor sector, preferably in the MOSFET sector
- Experience with customers in the automotive industry as well as distribution
- Fluent in spoken English and German Writing
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Experience in team and employee leadership
- Willingness to travel mainly within Europe, occasionally worldwide
