Internship Description:
As a People Team intern at ACTIAN a division of HCL Software, you will have the unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the dynamic world of Human Resources within the context of a leading data warehouse company in Germany. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience and exposure to various aspects of HR functions in a tech-driven environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- ** Talent Acquisition Support**: Assist in the recruitment process, from posting job openings to screening resumes and coordinating interviews. Learn about the strategies for attracting top talent in the competitive tech industry.
- **
Employee Onboarding**: Contribute to the onboarding process by assisting with orientation sessions, preparing materials, and ensuring a smooth integration for new hires.
- **
HR Administration**: Gain practical experience in HR documentation, maintaining personnel records, and supporting day-to-day administrative tasks within the HR department.
- **
Employee Engagement**: Collaborate on initiatives to enhance employee engagement, such as organizing events, surveys, and participating in the development of employee recognition programs.
- **
Learning and Development**: Contribute to the coordination of training programs, workshops, and professional development opportunities for employees.

**Qualifications**:

- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master’s program in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong communication skills in both German and English.
- Basic understanding of HR principles and practices.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Enthusiastic about learning and contributing to the HR function in a technology-driven company.

- Time with Executives— Interns all get a chance to connect with our executive team through panel discussions, 1:1s, Q&A meetings, and events.
- Workshops & Tech Tuesday’s— Interns all participate in Tech Tuesday’s where they get to learn more about Actian specific technologies, as well as workshops geared towards new professionals.

**Duration**:
This internship is a 12-month opportunity, providing valuable insights and practical experience in the HR field within the context of a leading data warehouse company in Germany.
