**About this opportunity**

In Market Area Europe and Latin America (MELA) Digital Services, CU WE, we are looking for a Solution Architect within the Packet Core and 5G Core area for our local Vodafone Germany Team located in Düsseldorf. You will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and developing commercially viable end-to-end technical solutions for our customers. In this role, you will also be accountable for providing profitable business for Ericsson by translating customer needs, and technology opportunities into detailed technical offerings, solutions, and proposals.

**These interesting tasks and activities await you**:

- Scope, define and design solution offerings, driving end-to-end technical solutions
- Analyze customer technology, define business requirements, and participate in risk analysis
- Support our pre-sales team
- Develop technical presentations and proposals, and perform customer presentations
- Support our solution deployment
- Provide feedback to R&D
- Participate in knowledge transfer, documentation, and information sharing
- Stay abreast of new technology/technical areas

**You bring the following knowledge and experience**:

- Academic degree, minimum on bachelor level, in engineering (IT, Telecom) OR 1-2 years of academic studies combined with several years of relevant professional experience
- Strong knowledge of virtualization, cloud-native, packet core, and 5G Core technologies
- Strong customer communication and presentation skills
- Understanding of E2E deployments in the telecommunications area
- Track record of delivering results & meeting customer expectations
- Excellent planning and organizational skills, ability to think strategically would be an asset
- Pre-sales experience and an established customer network would be a plus
- Good understanding of industry and Customer trends
- Strong curiosity to learn and be at the forefront of technology changes
- Proficiency in English is a must, German skills are an advantage
