**Airbus Commercial Aircraft **is looking for a

**Data Analytics & Material Management Specialist (d/f/m)**:
located in **Hamburg **with a possible start date of **August 2023 **or later.

In this position you will be part of the international team within the area of **Material Management **along the Aircraft Lifecycle. Our objective is to ensure that the materials are available for delivery and maintenance of aircrafts.

You are mainly responsible for data analytics including the development and implementation of digitalization and automation approaches. You work in close cooperation with the programme and project managers from the material management team as well as linking to the other data analytics specialists in the organization.

At the end of the process you enable the material management team to run data analytical tasks by ensuring the availability of the right and cleaned data sets as well as by consulting the team on data analytics.

Your location

You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Your tasks and responsibilities
- You support the development of the data analytics and automation community
- You establish a data driven control of the material management processes (incl. the definition, implementation and mapping of key performance indicators)
- You are in charge of developing data visualization models to better communicate results of data analysis and provide easy-to-understand data visualizations adapted to the audience
- You develop pilot products/tools, define their implementation and perform acceptance tests with the support of business experts
- You assist project managers with specification of IT solutions (processes, methods, tools, infrastructure)
- You actively contribute and share best practices, findings, and techniques with the wider data community (Coach the function in a data driven mind-set)

Desired skills and qualifications
- Educated Master’s degree in Data Science, Business Informatics, Digital Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Applied Computer Sciences
- Or completed technical apprenticeship (e.g. in aviation sector) with appropriate further training/education in data analytics
- You have relevant experience in Data Analytics and Supply Chain Management
- You have a good understanding of complex processes and project management
- Coding skills (languages e.g. Python, R, SQL, Java, Json, HTML, CSS, Google Apps Script) are essential
- Knowledge of SAP (e.g. SD Module
- AP1) or experience in Airbus Data and Data Analytics Palantir platform Skywise (Contour, Reports, Code Authoring, Slate, etc.) is a plus
- Ideally Google workspace is something you have already worked with

- The position involves irregular business trips (1 - 2 times per year) within Europe.
