**Job Description**:
**Your mission during this flight**:

- You will study and develop an alternative cooling concept to be installed in a full-electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing vehicle (eVTOL)
- Youl will work on a conceptual and preliminary design of the cooling system, following a set of technical and business requirements
- You will support conceptual design to accomplish requirements through solution ideation, trade-offs. You will support designing for manufacturability and, ideally, allow the possibility for scale-up (e.g., to accommodate double the heat load). The solution is to be certified under the EASA SC-VTOL regulation
- You will support preliminary design (equipment sizing, performance evaluation, weight estimation)

**Qualifications**:
**Check in your professional skills**:

- You are pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering or a related field
- You have knowledge of air conditioning and heat and mass transfer principles
- You are highly effective in independent work as well as collaborating and communicating with others

**Other requirements**:

- You hold a work permit valid for a Master's thesis: either as a a citizen or permanent resident of the EU **or** through a student visa with a permit to work within Germany
