Research Assistant (alle Geschlechter)

Neuropharmakologie

Vollzeit und unbefristet

Ihr Ziel ist es die Wirksamkeit neuer potentieller Arzneistoffe, in Bezug auf neurodegenerativen Krankheiten, sowie Schmerz
- und Entzündungserkrankungen, in vivo nachzuweisen

Aufgaben
- Planung experimenteller Arbeiten, Durchführung und Optimierung etablierter Methoden und Versuchsprotokolle
- Durchführung physiologischer Versuche (Substanzapplikationen, Gewebeentnahmen, Vorbereitung der Gewebe für weiterführende Analysen)
- Durchführung von operativen Techniken (bspw. stereotaktische Injektionen)
- Durchführung und Auswertung von Verhaltensversuchen (Motorik, Schmerzmodelle, Kognition)
- Auswertung und Dokumentation der Arbeitsergebnisse in einem elektronischen Laborbuch

Profil:

- Bachelor oder Master Abschluss einer biologischen Fachrichtung oder einem verwandten Fach oder erfolgreich abgeschlossene Ausbildung als BTA oder CTA mit mehrjähriger Berufserfahrung
- FELASA B Kurs oder eine Ausnahmegenehmigung nach -9 TierSchG
- Relevante Berufserfahrungen im Umgang mit verschiedenen Applikationstechniken von Testsubstanzen sowie Blut
- und Gewebeentnahmen sind wünschenswert
- Erfahrungen mit mikrochirugischen Eingriffen besonders stereotaktischen Injektionen sind ideal
- Routine bei der Entnahme von Gewebeproben in histologischer Quatlität wünschenswert
- Kenntnisse in der Aufbereitungen und Färbung von Geweben ideal
- Gute Englischkenntnisse sind von Vorteil
- Planungs
- und Organisationstalent, hohe Flexibilität bei wechselnden Anforderungen sowie strukturierte und zuverlässige Arbeitsweise
