Your job
- Actively working on projects that enable business units to generate more and better business (according to quantitative and qualitative aspects) using NLP, ML, and statistics
- Developing and implementing AI solutions, from prototypes to production
- Presenting findings and the systems developed to internal and external stakeholders
- Identifying and assessing the potential of statistical, ML and NLP innovations and technologies that could offer potential competitive advantages in the insurance space
- Networking with existing quantitative units in the reporting and analysis fields and with IT to create an AI community

**Profile**:

- University degree (master and above) in a quantitative field (mathematics, computer science, physics, engineering or business analytics) with a solid understanding of probabilities, statistics, and machine
- Very good theoretical and practical understanding of modern machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques, as well as expertise in at least one of the following areas: natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, knowledge graphs, recommender systems or time series
- Excellent presentation, strategic thinking, consulting and project management skills, plus a demonstrated interest in taking ownership of technical initiatives from coordination to implementation
- Outstanding Python programming skills and proficiency with ML frameworks such as Pytorch or TensorFlow
- Substantial knowledge of bets practices in software development (version control and testing), architecture design, object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms
- A PhD, publications in scientific fields related to data analytics or open-source contributions would be a plus
- Readiness to embrace innovation, forward-looking perspective, mindset and behaviour that reflect the entire group, pronounced service focus, ability to work in a team, and a very high level of commitment
- High level of accountability as well as ability to deal with uncertainty and execute in an ambiguous environment
- Experience in the insurance, risk management or financial services industry would be beneficial
- Very good command of English and a willingness to travel
