DevOps & Security Engineering Working Student

We want to continue bringing the value of Decision Intelligence to more customers in the DACH region and as a next step in other markets.
Tasks
**Infrastructure support**:
- Assist in the maintenance and management of our AWS-based Kubernetes clusters.
- Support the deployment, configuration, and monitoring of various services such as Keycloak, Dagster, Temporal, Snowflake, Airbyte, Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and NGINX Ingress Controller.
- Participate in automating routine infrastructure tasks using tools like Terraform and Ansible.
**Security Assistance**:
- Help implement security measures and controls to protect data and infrastructure.
- Assist in conducting security assessments and vulnerability scans.
- Support the preparation of documentation and processes required for ISO27001 certification.
**Monitoring and Incident Response**:
- Assist in the implementation and management of monitoring tools to ensure system health and performance.
- Participate in incident response activities, helping to resolve infrastructure-related incidents and outages.
- Help maintain and update incident response plans.
**Requirements**:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Interest in cybersecurity and compliance standards such as ISO27001.
- Basic scripting skills in languages such as Python or Bash.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in German is desirable
