As Team Lead Sales & Strategic Partnerships you will play a key role in defining and executing our sales strategy, building long-lasting alliances with our clients and maintaining partnerships at Kitchen Stories. You will report directly to our CEO, Alex and have the opportunity to lead a creative, dedicated and hard-working team of five. With your profound experience in sales and sales operations, you will make a measurable impact in further establishing Kitchen Stories as the number 1 premium place for native advertising in the food sector.

Tasks
- You will be instrumental in shaping how and with which USP we approach our potential customers and in continuously guiding your team to maximize sales opportunities for our future projects
- Together with your team, you are responsible for the entire sales life-cycle, starting with the identification of promising potential customers through to signing them and ensuring a long-term successful customer relationship
- You will not only be leading but also developing your team by setting clear targets, providing timely guidance, and empowering them with the right tools and framework
- You will ensure that all our sales activities are regularly documented in a meaningful and reliable manner in our CRM tool
- You will help to position Kitchen Stories as an attractive business partner for advertisers in the food and drinks sector and further expand our network with direct customers and media agencies
- You will actively monitor changes in the industry and leverage them for business opportunities as well as innovate to maximize revenue
- You will use your network to represent Kitchen Stories at several exciting opportunities to potential advertisers and media agencies as well as at relevant trade fairs and events
- Together with our Monetization team, you will expand and support the launch of our in-house marketing products to further develop the Kitchen Stories brand
- You will regularly monitor sales performance and targets and proactively work towards identifying areas for improvement within the team

**Requirements**:

- You bring several years of experience in advertising sales, ideally from a media publisher, marketing or media agency background and through this exposure you have demonstrated clear success in selling advertising products in the digital world
- You are highly familiar with the media industry in the DACH region and have a strong, established network to benefit from
- You have a solid background in sales operations and know how to build an extremely efficient and effective sales organization with the relevant knowledge, tools and processes
- You are well-versed in the FMCG sector and always keep track of the latest trends
- You are used to working with senior and executive management to align sales strategies and solutions and enjoy strategic project planning. First leadership experience is a big plus
- You are a role model in being "out there", regularly networking with potential clients, building long-lasting business relationships, and identifying business opportunities everywhere possible
- In addition to possessing strong communication and negotiation skills, you come with a lot of enthusiasm and passion for the sales department and most importantly, you also identify with our brand and market segment
- You are willing to regularly travel to our clients and meet them for on-site appointments
- Your German is on a native speaker level and you have excellent English skills
