First established in 2007, eToro is the world’s leading social trading network. We have positioned ourselves as a Fintech leader formed through a global network of subsidiaries regulated in multiple jurisdictions, including in Cyprus, the United Kingdom, Germany, Gibraltar, Australia, and USA.

We are looking for a Compliance Outsourcing Officer to own eToro Germany GmbH complete suite of outsourced services across all functions with a particular emphasis on all regulated outsourced services.

eToro Germany is regulated and supervised by Bafin and Bundesban, respectively therefore the role requires a full understanding of the German regulatory landscape (KWG; GWG; MaRisk) relevant for financial services companies and amore than basic knowledge of German corporate law.

This is a newly established role creating a great opportunity for significant impact as part of our growing friendly team in Frankfurt.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Define, propose, and implement the company’s outsourcing policy, which must be approved by the board of directors.
- Manage the company’s outsourcing program including monitoring the outsourced services or functions and manage the risks associated with outsourcing.
- Develop and control outsourcing agreements either with other group companies or external vendors, including KPI, access and control rights, risk assessments etc.
- Advise the business departments about compliance to legal regulations and obligations to avoid money laundering and other criminal offenses; has a willingness to support pertinent remediation in addition to Ad Hoc projects.
- Complete prior and in-depth analysis (risk assessment) for any contemplated outsourcing including a description of services, expected results and a detailed evaluation of the risks for, among other things, financial, operational, legal, and reputational risks
- Monitor, report and propose changes to outsourcing policy and procedures due to changes in the company’s obligations with focus on outsourcing guidelines of our regulators (BaFin and Bundesbank)
- Monitor, report and propose changes to increase on SLA performance of each outsource services provider.
- Conduct, as needed, on-site audits of material outsourcing services providers.
- Work with the internal control functions on monitoring, identifying and remediating issues.
- Work with eToro Germany’s Data Protection Officer to fulfil our obligations regarding protection of outsourced services providers’ data.
- Monitor, report and propose changes to eToro Germany’s own SLAs performance.
- Work with other eToro Group companies’ teams to improve eToro Germany’s SLA performance.
- Draft and maintain eToro Germany’s SLA policy.

**Requirements**:

- 3-5 Years of experience performing the duties/responsibilities outlined above.
- Fluent in German and English
- Experience in outsourcing and vendor risk management
- Experience in drafting and managing policies
- Experience in communication with authorities (BaFin, Bundesbank)
- Experience in preparing and doing internal audits and in SLA management and reporting (preferred in a Fintech / IT industry)
- Highly organized and proactive with a can-do attitude.
- Ability to work both independently, as well as in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- A proven track record in achieving targets.
- Must possess research and analytical skills with the ability to analyse large amounts of data and decipher high risk attributes.
- Previous experience in the financial services sector would be an advantage.
