**Your role**:
You will conduct and publish research to develop and deploy deep learning methods, including novel architectures, transformer and fine-tuning techniques. Your work will also be incorporated into our AI-powered drug discovery software, AIDDISON. You will work closely with internal experts in medicinal chemistry, drug design, DMPK and toxicology, as well as with a leading academic research group in deep learning and three leading AI companies.

You will also be directly involved in ongoing drug discovery projects, driving our efforts to identify and optimise innovative medicines in oncology and immunology that will transform patients' lives.

The position is initially limited to two years.

**Who you are**:

- Ph.D. in life sciences (e.g. chemistry, pharmacy or bioinformatics), computer science, data science or a related field
- Proficiency in deep learning techniques and open source frameworks with a track record of successful implementation
- Good knowledge of chemoinformatics (e.g. basic chemistry, SMILES, molecular fingerprints, etc.)
- Strong background in scientific software development, preferably using Python
- Demonstrated passion for science and a strong desire to make a meaningful impact
- You are a team player, communicative and have an proactive personality
