**Tasks**
The Battery Development Center (RD/EB) is responsible for the development of high-voltage batteries at Mercedes-Benz AG and the RD/EBZ department is responsible for the further development of cell chemistry as well as the development and release of individual cells and cell modules. Our team works on the development of cell chemistry, production of the battery cell in test cell format and electrode development.
These are some of the challenges you will face:
- Further development of processes for trial cell production in the cell laboratory
- Production of electrode slurries & coatings
- Stacking, welding and sealing of test cells
- Evaluation and assessment of the results
**Qualifications**
- Degree in chemistry, materials science or a comparable course of study
- Confident handling of MS-Office
- Confident written and spoken German and English skills
- Commitment and ability to work in a team
- Analytical mindset and strategic way of working
