**WHAT TO EXPECT**

**Working full-time either from our Euskirchen or our Aachen office**, you will provide effective HR operational services and advice that reflect the organization's business objectives.
- This is an exciting opportunity for you because you will be serving as a consultant on all HR-related matters, from on-boarding of new employees to performance management, capacity building, talent development, and employee relations.
- This position is vital to Gates as you'll be working closely with management, employees and work council(s) to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention.

**Key responsibilities (to name a few?)**:

- Handling HR Administration and HR documentation (contracts, compensation letters?)
- Implementing people management disciplines such as compensation and benefits, succession planning, people development, and performance management to achieve business goals
- Maintaining in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance
- Providing day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions)
- Developing trainings as needed
- Performing other related duties as assigned

**ABOUT YOU**
- Previous experience in Germany, ideally in a manufacturing environment
- Working experience with Staff delegation and Union
- Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws
- Extensive knowledge of HR process, procedures and policies.
- Fluent in **English and German**
