**What you’ll do**
- Maintain the necessary systems and procedures to monitor the effectiveness of plant operations.
- Establish budgeting processes and procedures. Provide supplemental information as needed in areas including but not limited to material loss/scrap, inventory, obsolescence.
- Develop key performance measurements and establish tracking systems
- Costing of products
- Evaluate insourcing opportunities
- Prepare and analyze key monthly financial reports for the plants
- Actively participate in plant management to monitor plant efficiency and financial savings
- Support the development of TPM in the plant, especially the FI pillar, by helping to find and assess areas of improvement
- Conduct audits to ensure compliance with guidelines; recommend improvements and support implementation of changes
- Compliance with all site health and safety requirements and improvement programs
- The position is based in Biebesheim and requires occasional travel

**What you’ll need**
- Master's degree in finance, economics or similar education
- At least 5 years of professional experience in finance in a multinational company, including significant experience in plant controlling
- communicative English language is mandatory
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Strong MS Excel skills and general system knowledge (e.g. SAP experience)
- Strong personal agility. Ability to fit in and collaborate with the management team and other stakeholders e.g. S&OP (Operational Planning), GBS. Challenge and involvement where necessary
- Ability to work both individually and in close collaboration (often remotely)
- Willingness to travel (5-10%)
