**What you'll do**

We are looking for a Chief Cloud Architect (M/F/d) with focus on cyber security (related to network and SAP solutions) for one of our strategic customer accounts. With your excellent understanding of SAP Enterprise Cloud Services and hyperscaler security architecture, you will be leading the RISE with SAP S/4HANA Cloud, private edition adoption of the customer.
- Present in detail technical (full stack incl. security and networking) and operational aspects of the RISE with SAP S/4HANA Cloud, private edition.
- Conduct discovery workshops with customer to define the future cloud architecture and plan the roadmap.
- Work closely with customer and IaaS partner to perform data center assessment & compatibility check for cloud transition.
- Works as trusted security and technical advisor representing SAP Enterprise Cloud Services in customer/partner/consulting discussions.
- Collaborate with Cloud Architect & Advisor (CAA) to identify customer’s future requirements.
- Works as feedback channel for customer in SAP Enterprise Cloud Services providing improvement inputs to cross delivery units (Service Engineering, Productization, Scalable Units)
- Support Engagement Lead and Project Lead in delivering customer services.
- Collaborate with different teams from within the SAP Enterprise Cloud Services organization and outside to ensure great customer satisfaction.
- Support delivery teams to perform and drive root cause analysis to completion.
- Participate and contribute towards organization’s goals and objectives, collaborating with multiple teams and solutions.
- Mentor and guide junior members of the team. As the most senior technology expert in the team, junior team members will see you as a role-model and look to you for guidance and support.

**What you bring**
- Deep experience in technical planning, implementation and configuration of SAP and non-SAP solutions: solution landscape design, sizing, integration, network.
- Excellent knowledge of the entire SAP technology stack: NetWeaver/ABAP stack, database, operating system (Linux, HANA, ASE) and connectors (SAP Cloud Connector, SAP Web Dispatcher, load balancing).
- Excellent knowledge of network and security technologies (firewalls, load-balancer, hyperscaler security technologies, ).
- Excellent understanding of cloud concepts and technologies: virtualization, high availability & disaster recovery, availability zones etc.
- Understands end to end business drivers for customers to be in cloud, translating it into technical requirements.
- Ability to own, lead and coordinate operational tasks, customer escalations, process improvements.
- Experience in working with cross-cultural teams or individuals.
- Maintain high level of standards and quality of technical consulting and customer interaction.
- Strategical thinking and elaborating new technologies on a proactive, independent way.

**Education and Qualifications/ Skills and Competencies**
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in one of the following areas: Computer Science, Cyber Security, Engineering, Information Management.
- Strongly focused on quality, customer success and driven by results.
- Excellent know-how on SAP Technologies and Products (relevant certification is highly beneficial).
- Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate and escalate Issues.
- Able to articulate technical details to non-technical audience such as customer with great clear and concise confidence.
- Ability to work under pressure and constantly add value to customer and within organization.
- Capacity to continuously acquire new knowledge in an independent, proactive way.
- Excellent analytical and solution-oriented thinking.
- Project management experience.
- Expected Microsoft Certifications: Azure Network Engineer Associate, Cybersecurity Architect Expert, Identity and Access Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure for SAP Workloads Specialist, Azure Administrator Associate.
- SAP-certified for OS/DB migration.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional certification is highly beneficial.

**Work experience**
- 15+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience with hands-on customer facing SAP Technology Consulting (e.g. Basis Admin, DB Admin, Integration/Interfacing, Migrations, Upgrades, Business Continuity etc.).
- 10+ years experience with solution design, enterprise architecture and SAP implementation.
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in planning and implementing complex network architectures
- Deep understanding of Software Defined Networks (SDN) and Virtual Networks
- 7+ years experience with hyperscaler IaaS providers (MS Azure is a must).
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework.
- Knowledge of data center design and setup.
- Deep understanding of main security concepts and principles.
- SAP HANA and S/4HANA skills.
