Customs Specialist

As a **customs specialist - **senior** at logit.syncreon in **Elsenfeld**, you will be responsible for the smooth processing and declaration of our high-tech goods. **About the Role**:
**How you will contribute**
- Management of a customs warehouse (entry and exit)
- Training of all departments based on current customs and foreign trade regulations
- Regular execution of internal audits and preparation / support of external audits
- Direct contact person for all authorities (customs office, BAFA, IHK etc.), service providers, customers and internally
- Ensuring compliance with all security-related, organizational and disciplinary regulations based on the current customs and foreign trade regulations, as well as the current authorization of the location
- Checking for necessity and procurement of certificates and special documents for export depending on the destination country
- Control of external service providers
- Administration and regular control of customs warehouse stocks
- Intrastat registration
- Administration of export licenses
- Administration and verification of consignment confirmations
- BAFA export control
- Exercise of the function of customs representative for the site
- Operational day-to-day import and export business
**Your Key Qualifications**
- Completed training as a forwarding agent or comparable training
- 3 - 5 years of professional experience as a customs representative and in operational customs handling
- Profound knowledge of customs clearance and related programs, as well as AEO requirements
- You are familiar with the legal language
- Air and sea freight knowledge
- Fluent in written and spoken German, good English skills
- You are a team player, a strong communicator, reliable and stress resistant
- You work independently and are characterized by goal-oriented, pro-active work with high self-demand
