**Financial Controller (m/w/d)**:
You have the daily leadership and management of the finance department at DHT, you are the the right hand and sparring partner of the Financial Director (FD), and also to the Financial Director. The position is mainly based in Hockenheim.

**Ihre Aufgaben**:

- Efficiently organizing and maintaining the financial and administrative processes, including strict adherence to internal policies and SOX controls, and ensuring full compliance with both US GAAP and German regulations.
- Proactively identifying and addressing potential deviations in the financial processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Developing, coordinating, and monitoring budgets, and forecasts, 3-year plans and other financial projections. Ensuring reliable and timely projections as well as seamless collaboration with relevant departments.
- Supervising the preparation of monthly and quarterly reports reporting (Balance sheet, income statement, KPIs etc.) in compliance with US GAAP and annual financial statements in compliance with German GAAP.
- Overseeing the proper functioning of accounting software, implementing solutions, and acting as a key user to optimize its usage for accurate financial reporting and analysis.
- Conducting comprehensive analysis of actual financial results against budget and prior years, identifying discrepancies and providing detailed explanations.
- Performing precise costing calculations of sales products and related in-depth analysis.
- Maintaining and improving administrative processes (purchasing, sales, closing and reporting) in an efficient manner.
- Handling accurate and timely preparation of VAT and Intrastat declarations.
- Serving as a key contact person for external auditors, and tax authorities.
- Filing the annual closings with external accountant.
- Providing proactively insights to management team.
- Participating in project-based initiatives.
- Fostering effective communication within the finance team, across departments, and with other entities of the Group.

**Ihr Profil**:

- A successfully completed degree in the relevant field, alternatively a comparable career with completed vocational training.
- Good knowledge of finance/controlling in Germany with relevant experience of min. 5 years.
- Confident handling of common MS-Office products, especially Excel and Powerpoint
- Possesses strong interpersonal skills, exuding confidence, persuasiveness, and exceptional communication abilities.
- Demonstrates an analytical and structured approach to work, coupled with a strong sense of independence and autonomy.
- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems is a significant advantage.
- Fluent in English and German

**Wir versprechen**:

- A contract with a minimum term of one year, with option for a permanent contract hereafter.
