Account Specialist

**Your Job**
We are seeking an experienced Account Specialist to join our team with a primary focus on pricing activities and supporting the sales team with various account management tasks. The role involves maintaining a clean pricing database, generating quotes, and ensuring compliance with customer contracts. In addition to pricing responsibilities, you will provide critical support for the sales team in customer relations, and administrative tasks, contributing to the overall success of the sales efforts.

**What You Will Do**
- Prepare and manage customer quotes in accordance with agreed-upon pricing structures.
- Maintain and update a clean pricing database, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date.
- Ensure that pricing agreements and contracts with customers are respected and adhered to.
- Adjust pricing in line with currency fluctuations and raw material cost changes to maintain profitability
- Provide sales volume, margin, and profit analysis to support business decisions.
- Assist the sales team in yearly price negotiations by providing data-driven insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve customer issues related to invoicing.
- Ensure smooth execution of price adjustments while adhering to internal guidelines
- Manage sales documentation including contracts, proposals, and customer agreements to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of sales reports and forecasts to provide visibility into sales performance.

**Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)**
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in pricing or sales support, preferably in the automotive or connection systems industry.
- Proficient in pricing tools (Vendavo, PROS), Salesforce, SAP and Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English..
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with precision and efficiency.
- Ability to work closely with the sales team and other departments to ensure cohesive customer management.
- Proactive approach to identifying and resolving pricing-related issues.

**What Will Put You Ahead**
- Familiarity with the automotive industry and connection systems is highly preferred.
- Fluency in other languages than English is a plus.
