Your role- at ZEISS As a part of the central design systems team, you will be involved in creating and operating the digital design system that all product design teams, engineers, and product managers use to design & develop user interfaces at ZEISS- Using your full range of interaction, visual, and prototyping skills, you will create a consistent but innovative look & feel for mobile, online and desktop solutions- Operations will entail onboarding internal & external user groups, training and providing design reviews- You will be part of a team that ensures design quality across all facets of UI, illustration, motion, etc. Responsibilities: Create a unified, cohesive set of UX and UI guidelines for all of ZEISS’s mobile, desktop & web solutions. Collaborate with engineering, product, and brand to define the future of design systems at ZEISS- Support operations & onboarding and provide guiding design reviews for less experienced stakeholders. Inspire the team and our internal partners by bringing new ideas and collaboratively working on next-generation interfaces- Advocate for design by sharing and presenting cross-functionally- Be able to articulate design rationale and goals precisely

**Profile**:- You are a strong cross-functional contributor, having worked closely with engineers, a great communicator, and above all, you approach problems holistically but drive towards a unified system-
- Bachelor's or Masters's degree in Interaction Design, User Experience Design, User Interface Design or an equivalent work experience 3+ years of professional experience, preferably in a larger cooperation /or renowned design agency 1+ years of experience working on design systems Experience designing for multiple platforms is a plus (Web, iOS, Android, etc.)- Proficiency in current design and prototyping tools (Figma, etc.)- Excellent presentation and documentation skills Excellence in visual design/brand craft- Ability to work partnership-oriented, highly collaborative in a cross-functional team Excited about working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment- Very good verbal and written skills in English
