**About the role**

You will work on the core platform of Y42, ranging from identity and access management all the way to Y42's publishing layer - a seamless interface between their Y42 pipeline-building tool and the user's downstream visualization tools and data apps.

Your initial focus will be on the publishing layer as it is the next big piece we as the product team are working on. The publishing layer empowers data engineers to easily and quickly pass production-grade data and metadata to any business user seeking insights, business analyst building dashboards, and software engineer building embedded analytics.

To offer both sides of the publishing layer the best user experience, you truly need to understand users needs, pain points, and desires. In this role, you will report directly to our Head of Product, who is establishing the wider product vision with our CEO.

As our Product Lead, these are the things you will do:

- Drive the product roadmap, prioritize the development of different product services, and lead the product communication.
- Collaborate closely with the engineering, design, sales, and marketing departments to deliver the product into the market successfully.
- Act as a sparring partner for our Head of Product and CEO when it comes to the general product vision/direction.
- Implement product management processes within your team.
- Be a very strong product IC who can bring workflows and UX to the next level.
- Conduct interviews with both technical and non-technical users to understand their pain points when working with dashboards.
- When the Product Team grows, hire, develop, and manage multiple product managers.

**About you**

What we're looking for:

- Have a deep sense for UI/UX and the ability to prototype ideas in Figma.
- Have a track record of building SaaS products that users love.
- Have a high customer understanding of all our personas - (data engineer, business analyst, business user (bonus point).
- Have experience leading a team of 2+ people (bonus points).
