**Duties**:
- Supervises a staff of 3-12 employees, assigns and reviews work assignments on a daily, weekly basis.
- Plans work schedules, approves or disapproves leave, determines performance objectives and rates performance.
- Recommends items of supplies, materials, prizes, decorations, refreshments, and equipment needed for program functions.
- Assures that proper security measures are taken to safeguard monies, property, equipment and facility.

- A one-year probationary period may be required.
- Possesses satisfactory completion of pre-employment background checks in accordance with AR 215-3, 2-13, to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
- This position may require a health screening. Immunizations may be required as a condition of employment for the health and safety of those in the facility.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US Army (USAREUR) Certificate of license.
**Qualifications**:
- Must have knowledge of wide range of recreation and sports activities, organization and structure of military units and installation sports program objectives, policies, methods and procedures to plan, organize, and coordinate activities, assist, guide and motivate military staff in carrying out their responsibilities. Must have basic understanding of budget and supply functions in order to prepare input and justification of funding for supplies and equipment. Must have the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing (English). Work experience or education directly related to the duties to be performed.

- Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest.
**Pay-Band Allowances and Differentials**
- Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. **_If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay._** Sunday premium may be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday).
