**What you'll do**:
- Conduct IAs to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies (including the IT security policy)
- Draft an internal audit charter
- Develop & implement internal audit plans and procedures
- Analyze financial & operational data to identify risks and evaluate controls
- Communicate findings and recommendations to management and provide support in implementing improvements
- Keep up to date with industry developments and regulatory changes affecting the organization
- Evaluate reporting processes for effectiveness and how they support business goals

**What do you need to succeed in this role?**:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 4+ years of experience in internal auditing or a related field
- Knowledge of internal audit processes, standards, and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
**It would be a plus if you also**:
- Fin-Tech experience is a plus
- Familiarity with Dutch regulations and accounting standards

**Meet Mondu**:
Mondu is a Berlin-based Fintech company in the B2B payments space whose purpose is to simplify the financial lives of SMBs so that they can focus on business. Mondu provides a BNPL solution for B2B, which helps merchants and marketplaces to improve conversion rate and protect themselves against default risk, while alleviating the operational burden of collection and dunning. Business buyers benefit from payment flexibility that improves their cash flow and allows them better day-to-day business management.
