**Internship Scale-up of Bioprocesses using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)**

**YOUR TASKS**
**In this internship, you will work at the interface between CFD method development and biotransformation. As part of an interdisciplinary project team in the department "Process and Technology Development" you will work on the following topics**:

- Support the scale-up of bioprocesses in stirred tank reactors by identifying inhomogeneities respectively optimal operating parameters
- Application and Extension of a multi-physics CFD simulation model based on the Lattice Boltzmann Method (LBM)
- Independent planning, execution, and presentation of your work

**YOUR PROFIL**
**In addition to skill such as teamwork, flexibility, initiative, and quality awareness, you identify with the following description**:

- You are an enrolled student in mechanical engineering, process engineering, aerospace engineering, or similar
- You have theoretical and practical experience in the field of computational fluid dynamics (e.g., Ansys Fluent or OpenFOAM)
- You are interested in programming and data processing (Python, C/C++, Git, Linux)
- You have basic knowledge in the field of bioprocess engineering
