**ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY**

**Collaboration & Interface**
- Product Line Managers, Engineering Project Managers, Development Managers, Software Developers, and other Architects to plan ongoing future development of advanced Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, embedded edge systems and technologies and next generation automotive architecture including in vehicle software design.
- Security Office, Product Line Managers, Sales and Customer Architects to determine software requirements, and specifically security-related requirements.
- Significant opportunity to engage with and contribute to various open-source communities and consortia.

**Responsibilities**
- Support of the Technology roadmap for AI/ML, Edge and Automotive/Industrial technology arenas.
- Creation of, and participation with, a team of advanced architects and developers creating proof-of-concept and prototypes to validate new technology approaches.
- This position will also support external facing CTO activities, support for marketing initiatives (analyst interviews, speaking engagements, white papers, etc.) to drive Thought Leadership, and critical customer sales support for the CTO office.
- This position will also provide cross-functional leadership to ensure the CTO Technology roadmap is translated to execution with excellent relationships with PLM and Engineering.
- Generate outward facing whitepapers, blogs, presentations and talks at conferences.

**ABOUT YOU**

**Minimum Qualifications**
- Significant experience in a senior technical architect role.
- Architectural and technical leadership for advanced software defined edge systems including automotive and industrial spaces.
- A demonstrable experience in artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) is required.
- The ability to perform hands on prototyping and PoC creation using the relevant technologies in software development is required.
- Background in automotive, software defined vehicle architecture, and real time edge systems is desired.
- Background in safety certified systems (ISO-26262 DO-178C) a plus
- Excellent interpersonal communication, teamwork, and leadership skills
- Comfortable working in a distributed development environment with possible business travel.
- Proven ability to work across many technology areas, act proactively and own a problem from start to finish across multiple disciplines and organizational boundaries.
- Able to enthusiastically work, interact with and educate diverse groups such as sales, marketing, business development, partners, support.
