Test Specialist for Autonomous Driving Functions

Your tasks

On our exciting journey to fully autonomous driving we are developing and testing ADAS components and functions for our European customers in a global market. Our ADAS technologies are building blocks for a safe driving experience enabling partially as well as fully autonomous mobility solutions.

The Test Specialist is fully responsible for the roll-out of latest test strategies and test methods within the project teams across all test levels and domains. Thus enabling and empowering the test team to reach full test coverage efficiently, on time and with best quality.

Your tasks will focus on the following activities:

- Ensuring the roll-out of new test concepts and methods for the next generation ADAS systems (sensors, sensor systems and functions) across testing levels as well as test domains
- Ensuring the roll-out, adaption and optimization of current/new test methods (tools, workflow, competence)
- Definition of new requirements for test strategy and methods
- Continuous alignment with Solution Train Engineer, Product Manager & all Release Train Engineers & Test Manager on test strategy & methods
- Definition of new concepts and goals for test development, test automation and test processes
- Monitoring effectiveness and efficiency of test strategies using smart test metrics
- Consulting and training of test team as well as support during escalations

**Profile**:
This completes your profile:

- Degree in driver assistance systems, automotive engineering, electrical / mechanical engineering, computer or natural science or comparable qualification
- Several years experience with degree in automotive industry or similar (e.g. aerospace) in developing and/or validating electrical components and/or software
- Knowledge on ADAS systems, electrical vehicle architecture and bus systems, vehicle and virtual testing
- Experience with automotive development and test processes (ASPICE, ISO26262, ISTQB)
- Driver’s license class B (EU) and proven record of safe driving and handling of various vehicles required
- Very good English language skills written and spoken
- Capability to take initiative, make decisions and deliver results, passion and commitment
