- coordination of the Graduate School and management of the current business of the Graduate School
- financial planning of the Graduate School and development/implementation of procedures for the allocation of funds
- supporting and organising the doctoral student selection process
- organisation of symposia/workshops
- cooperation with internal and external institutions, especially with the faculties of the Cluster(s) of Excellence and the international partner universities
- networking on behalf of the Graduate School
- public relations
research (35 %):
- development and implementation of an interdisciplinary research colloquium
- independent research on health policy and systems in uncertaintied
- publication of scientific publications
- preparation of the final report
administration (5 %):
- participation in faculty committees
- Your Profile
We expect
- academic degree in public health, social sciences or related areas of expertise (in all cases, connections to the research field of health sciences must be shown)
- PhD in health science or related field (minimum grade: magna cum laude)
- relevant research experience in public health (preferably related to health policy or health systems)
- professional experience in science management
- fluent German and English (oral and written)
- knowledge/experience in the promotion of young researchers
- ability to work analytically and conceptually
- initiative and organisational skills
- Preferred experience and skills
- research on "crises" in the context of health is an advantage
- scientific publications; also in international journals
- experience in interdisciplinary teamwork
- experience in gender and diversity management
- international cooperation / networks
- knowledge of both qualitative and quantitative methods of empirical social research
