About your role

What you will be doing
- Support the the management team (COO, CTO and CEO) in all operational tasks to keep Varda running smoothly.
- Orrganize management team meetings, events and travels.
- Keep our Berlin office running smoothly (coordinating reception, handling the post, welcoming the visitors, ordering office supplies, etc.).
- Coordinate with IT department on all office equipment (support inventory and procurement).
- Address employees' queries regarding office management issues (e.g. stationery, Hardware and travel arrangements).
- Support with travel booking and expenses. Ensure internal compliance and cooperate with the finance team.
- The role reports to Varda’s COO and works closely with Varda’s CEO and CTO.

What you will bring
- Proven experience as an Executive Assistant, Office Manager or Administrative assistant, preferably in a start-up environment
- High-energy and highly independent individual with strong communication and organizational skills, results-oriented and passionate about Varda’s mission
- Ability to build trust and to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders
- Strong relationship skills, able to comfortably engage with senior officials of diverse corporations, inter-cultural competence and passion to work in a global environment
- Strong drive, hands-on, positive attitude and ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders
