- Provide the processes, structures, and tools required to maintain and develop relevant skills within Product operations at desk and supervisor level (incl. e.g., general Product knowledge, processes, and systems)
- Provides feedback to Processes and Production Systems based on trainees' input
- Ensures that training materials and curriculum are current, accurate, and effective
- For global training initiatives, conduct or facilitates required train-the-trainer sessions to cascade training to target audience
- Set up and maintain global training library and associated tools
- Work closely with other functions within Business Unit to determine the training needs and require-ments
- Create training material to meet specific training needs (content to be provided by respective Subject Matter Experts in the respective functional area)
- Prepare the Product organization for major change initiatives (e.g. new system roll-out, major pro-cess changes)
- Maintain a framework for regularly assessing skill gaps and actions to address same
- Establish tracking mechanism to review the effectiveness of trainings provided
- Instruct regional training teams on training processes and standards
- Ensure global training content is delivered consistently in all regions, while regional content comple-ments global common content
- Manages all services, employees, and costs within his / her department; provides effective leader-ship and management to staff which promotes high performance standards both individually and as a team

- Apprenticeship and/or studies in the area of logistics
- At least 5 years of experience in training with one year of supervisory experience required
- Profound knowledge of air freight forwarding
- Deep understanding of Product business processes and supporting systems & tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong graphic design ability
- Thorough understanding of training processes
- Ability to moderate large groups
- Highly organized and detail oriented
