The key deliverables of this role are to lead the market analytics agenda within the organization, to organize reporting processes and to deep dive into specific issues to provide guidance to the DACH commercial teams. Within this, there are key responsibilities to manage our external data agencies, work with an off-shore team and contractors who support the monthly data processing into our internal systems and to build relationships and attend key meetings to share the latest findings from the market data.

**Key responsibilities**
- ** Learning plan**. Owns and bears accountability for the creation in an independent manner and delivery of the Analytics Learning plan and data landscape required to drive DACH strategy including Demand Analytics, Price-Promo and Distribution Opportunities, Innovation and New Launches, RGM Support, Data Expansion and Quality Improvement Strategy and Roadmaps. Plans budget accordingly.
- ** Data management and reporting**. Is overseeing purchasing scope definition, data quality (e.g. coverage analysis), definition of data standards, data reporting, optimal way to present the data, management of off-shore processing center. That includes weekly, monthly an ad-hoc reporting for new launches.
- ** External agencies**. Manages relationships with external agencies - suppliers of the data, includes but not limited to purchasing scope definition, data quality control, bringing external knowledge outside in, collaboration with procurement on yearly negotiations.
- ** Ad-hoc analytics**. Leverages external agencies, internal resources or own skills to cover ad-hoc analytical requests tied to business cycles and regular internal meetings.
- ** Forecasting**. Runs market forecasting process for DACH region.
- ** Continuous improvement**. Seeks and implements new, innovative, and fit-for-purpose Analytics and Data mining discovery techniques. Is an advocate for change, driving and encouraging experimentation, triggering advancements in insight and analytics and embedding CBIA tools and platforms to unlock and accelerate growth.
- ** Partnership**. Acts as an integral part of the DACH BU organization, as a key advisor and business partner by putting analytical insights at the heart of all brand decisions. Collaborates with broad range of stakeholders including regional and global CBIA, marketing, commercial excellence function, sales and finance. Provides relevant trainings to the organization.
- ** Knowledge > insights > information > data**. Strives to extract most from the existing data, integrates data sources, builds and spreads knowledge within the organization.

**Qualifications and skills**
- 10+ years of experience working in FMCG / Food / Pharma (5+ years on client side is mandatory) in market analytics roles with exposure to multi-national environment (OTC experience is a plus)
- Excellent data analytical skills, ability to integrate the data from different sources to tell the story with the facts and to translate findings into actionable insights and driving results through influencing at senior levels of the organization
- Self-starter, fully independent professional who can work effectively within the complexities of a matrix environment, comfortable setting and refining priorities based on business impact and value, avoiding duplication of efforts and ensuring alignment to overall strategy
- Multitasking, ability to organize and run continuous processes within organization, to work in agile and changing context, test and learn mindset, confidence in challenging status quo and drive transformational thinking, striving to make complex things simple
- Strong understanding of the business (business cycles, P&L, business planning, risks and opportunities, growth drivers etc.). Demonstrates ability to adapt and respond quickly to changing information, priorities of business environment.
