Cad Specialist

Next Level Coffee aims to bring the best coffee to the best place**: Home.** We are on a mission to create a connected IoT coffee ecosystem (nunc.) that will revolutionize the coffee experience. In 2024, we have set our sights on launching the nunc. system, comprising our premium coffee machine, grinder, app, and more as a direct-to-consumer brand. We have secured the necessary financial funding to support all activities.

**So what is the role?**:
As a **CAD** Specilist, you develop and refine detailed designs of our nunc. system, ensuring accuracy and precision in all project deliverables. Your main areas of responsibility are:

- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to **translate conceptual ideas into practical design** solutions.
- Conduct thorough analysis and **testing of CAD models** to identify and address potential design flaws or issues.
- Stay updated on industry trends and **advancements in CAD **technology, incorporating best practices to enhance our design processes.

- A graveyard of failed concepts which fueled our coffee-tech knowledge
- You know our nunc. system by heart and are a sought-after contact person for decision-making
- You have put in hard work but grown and developed beyond your imagination

**What you need for this role**:

- ** Academic Background**: You hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- ** Experience**: You have extensive experience of the entire design and manufacturing process, having fully designed, rapidly manufactured and tested concepts. You also have a strong background in 3D printing, with demonstrated experience in optimizing designs for additive manufacturing processes.
- ** Skillset**:You have proven experience working with CAD software **SolidWorks** **and excellent conceptualization skills, with the ability to transform ideas into detailed and **actionable design plans**.
- ** Mindset**: Eager to iterate fast and learn fast - this is our DNA.
- ** Communication skills**: Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment, in English and German.
