**Introduction**:
O'Reilly's Irish pub group was founded in 1994. We operate 7 bars and restaurants between Holland, Belgium and Germany.

Our **main activities**:

- Operate an authentic Irish pub, run it to a high standard, with an attention to detail.
- Provide an excellent atmosphere to relax, watch sports, celebrate and be entertained.
- Oversee the serving of premium drinks and contemporary cocktails, alongside food which is home cooked and seasonal.
- Ensure that staff deliver hospitality that is friendly, positive, and professional and exceeds expectations.
- Maintain a management style which is effective, efficient and systems focused.

Our business is run over four departments and your role in each is as follows:
**HR: (Create a team)**
- Promote our culture, values and mindset.
- Assist colleagues wherever possible to create a cohesive team.

**Operations (Operate our system)**
- **Guest Safety**: Maintain a safe and secure environment for all patrons and staff by monitoring the premises during operational hours.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with bar staff and management to ensure a coordinated approach to security and safety.
- **Entry Management**: Control access to the bar, checking identification, and ensuring that all guests meet the age requirements.
- **Conflict Resolution**: De-escalate potential conflicts and manage disruptive behavior in a professional and calm manner.
- **Incident Response**: Respond promptly to any emergencies, incidents, or accidents, providing first aid if necessary and liaising with emergency services.
- **Patrol Duties**: Conduct regular patrols of the bar and surrounding areas to deter and detect potential security issues.
- **Event Security**: Provide security support during various social events, ensuring crowd control and monitoring for any unusual activity.
- **Reporting**: Document any incidents or security breaches in detailed reports for management review.

**Marketing: (Exceeds expectations)**

- Ensure customer queries are dealt with in a timely manner.

**The following are required**:

- **Experience**: Previous experience in a security role or host, preferably in a bar or nightlife setting.
- **Availability**: Willingness to work late nights, weekends, and during special events.
- **Certification**: Valid security license and first aid certification.
- **Skills**: Strong observational and communication skills. Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations diplomatically.
- **Physical Fitness**: Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks as needed.
