About this role:
The Solution Architect Manufacturing Systems translates the business strategy into effective changes to the manufacturing IT landscape by establishing, communicating and continuously develop principles and models to describe the future manufacturing IT architecture.
This is your new job:
- Provide IT expertise to advise business partners on industry best practices, processes and system improvements for all relevant manufacturing areas.
- Architect and agrees solutions that improve manufacturing process efficiencies and accuracy for all aspects related to the technologies involved.
- Work with stakeholders in developing ROI based business cases for enhancements.
- Lead efforts to re-engineer the manufacturing business process to optimize, configure and standardize existing systems and processes.
- Support business partners with creation of functional requirements definitions.
- Ensure compliance with architectural standards and practices through all aspects of planning, execution, and operation.
- Represent the manufacturing IT organization in the overall IT Architecture board.
This is you:
- University degree in IT, Business Management, Computer Science, Electronics, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a solution architect role with a Business Systems Analysis background is required
- Prior experience working in a complex global business environment with multi-language requirements.
- Broad functional knowledge in manufacturing IT and automation solutions, preferably in the semiconductors industry.
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and a rapidly changing environment.
- Results-oriented mindset and strong organizational skills.
- Strong decision-making skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated individual who demonstrates initiative.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and within constraints.
- Business fluent in English and German
