We are looking for a highly organized Intern for Project Management to support the successful execution of sample production. The student will drive development projects in a timely, efficient, and effective way to meet customer timelines, achieve a high rate of success, maintain low development costs, and ensure high transparency and visibility within the organization. In this position, you must closely collaborate with cross-functional teams, including colleagues from Purchasing, Manufacturing, Development, Operations, and other functions, to achieve common objectives. With full ownership of the sample delivery schedule, you will ensure execution, identify potential risk factors, and drive mitigation actions.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the successful implementation of pre-series sample coordination to support the project management team.
- Develop a project-specific pre-series sample ordering communication plan, implement weekly project meetings with suppliers, organize regular internal project meetings, create sample availability progress reports, and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Evaluate information from suppliers through discussions, documents, and claims, compile project requirements, and verify them against objectives with team members.
- Interface directly with internal and external suppliers for sample designs and delivery dates.
- Maintain excellent communication with the customer service organization by providing tracking information for completed shipments, and participate in project team meetings as needed.
- Maintain an inventory log to ensure sufficient stock for sample requests, update inventory and sample request log files, track shipments, conduct periodic inventory counts, and communicate lead times to support project schedules.

**What your background should look like**:

- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program in mechanical or electrical engineering, or a related field
- Able to work in a culturally diverse environment
- Excellent communication and presentation skills and social ability Acting with caution and in a well structured manner
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Ideally, knowledge of MS Project
