**Working Student R&D - Packaging Sustainability (f/m/d)**

Bad Vilbel | Germany (DE) | Full-time | Fix-term

Our Global Packaging and Medical Devices team develops new packs to meet our patients and consumers’ needs across the Consumer Health Care and Generics markets. We also make sure that we design them in a way to minimise our impact on the environment; this is key for us as we want to be a responsible partner for the world. In this role, you will be part of our team and contribute to the deployment of the organization's Packaging Sustainability Strategy. This position is limited for 6 months.

**Your responsibilities**:

- You learn to understand consumer's and market's needs related to packaging sustainability
- You will benchmark competition approaches to packaging sustainability
- You further develop existing packaging sustainability strategy
- You will provide overview of all legislative and regulatory requirements in Europe and in the UK
- You will establish how the organization can leverage expertise of european organisations, trade associations, partnerships
- In your role, you work closely with the packaging team and the marketing team in brands specific projects

**Your qualification**:

- You are enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program, with a focus on Package Engineering, Sustainability or related field of study
- Preferably, you have gained first experience in the field of Consumer Goods or Cosmetics; experiences in contact with suppliers will be a plus
- You have an innovative spirit and a strong desire to further develop your capabilities in Packaging and Sustainability
- You bring very good analytical and self-organizational skills to handle projects independently
- You have good knowledge in Microsoft Office
- You are fluent in written and spoken English; additional language proficiency is beneficial
