**Your responsibilities**:

- Adapt scope description for enquiry purposes (as needed)
- Develop/adapt Bill of Quantities (BoQ) for construction works, according to the proposal/project requirements, and coordinate material take-offs from engineering
- Perform in-house estimation of costs for construction works
- Tender construction works jointly with Procurement:

- prepare the technical enquiry package in relation to subcontractors
- clarify and evaluate quotations
- perform benchmarking
- Estimate the costs for temporary site facilities
- Estimate the costs for site management & supervision for construction and commissioning
- Estimate the costs for the home office (in-house) support of Construction
- Provide input to Construction Summary
- Support the construction portion of the tendering process during the project execution phase
- Clarify and evaluate quotations (perform benchmarking)
- Perform post calculation for the construction portion of executed projects

**Your profile**:

- Successfully completed studies in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Proven experience of at least 3-5 years in construction estimation, preferably within the (chemical) plant industry
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and processes
- Proficiency in construction estimating software and tools
- Strong analytical skills to assess project requirements and break them down into accurate cost components
- Ability to identify potential challenges in cost estimation and propose effective solutions
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, procurement, and subcontractors
- Demonstrated capability to make informed decisions related to estimation parameters independently
