A vacancy for an **Enterprise Architect (d/M/F) **within the Digital Function of Airbus Defence and Space has arisen. The successful applicant will join the Architecture Strategy department.
The main purpose and mission of the Architecture Strategy department is to define and maintain the enterprise architecture. We simplify and rationalize the existing IT landscapes and define the target enterprise architecture for emerging programmes such as the Future Combat Air System. We are also defining the processes, methods, and tools for the Enterprise Architecture Management functional unit of Airbus Defence and Space.

**Your tasks and responsibilities**
- Translate business considerations and strategy into the Digital strategy
- Define the enterprise architecture vision
- Prepare strategic enterprise architecture decisions
- Define policies, processes, methods, and tools for the enterprise architecture management
- Assure enterprise architecture building block adherence in Digital initiatives
**Desired skills and qualifications**
- Educated to a Master level (or equivalent) in Computer Science or a related discipline with experience in the aerospace engineering industry
- Experience in Enterprise Architecture practice
- TOGAF certification or equivalent and knowledge and practice of the ArchiMate language
- Experience in using Enterprise Architecture Management tools (e.g., Aris, Alfabet, etc.)
- Experience in PDM, ALM, PLM, and ILS as well as in ISA-95 information system solutions
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills (English and German)
