Purpose of this role
Our Finance department in Germany is responsible for Financial Planning, Accounting & Reporting under German GAAP, IFRS and Solvency II for all German entities. The Team Finance - Accounting & Reporting deals with the topics German GAAP, IFRS Accounting and Regulatory Reporting. This person will work as accountant and supports in reporting for all entities in the German Group.
Key Contribution Areas
- Accounting & Reporting of the new life insurance entity- German GAAP Accounting (in SAP R3) & Reporting incl. “Nachweisungen”- Preparation Annual Report- IFRS Accounting & Reporting (General ledger consolidation)- Solvency Reporting (Pillar III) - Inputs for RSR/SFCR- Interface Management (Subledgers, Mapping external data deliveries)- Internal Control Financial Reporting

Functional or Technical Knowledge and Skill Required- More than 2 years’ experience with financial accounting - ideally in a German Life Insurance company- HGB, IFRS and Solvency II skills- Ideally SAP R3 knowledge- Very familiar with MS Excel and PowerPoint- Professional in German- Fluency in Business English
