Operational Excellence Site Lead

The PWS Site Lead will provide hands on support, leadership, coaching and direction to drive the implementation of Lean Manufacturing principles throughout all operations and associated processes. Will act as the Perrigo Work System (PWS) Site expert and will partner with the Site Leadership Team.

**Verantwortungsbereich der Funktion**:

- Acts as a change agent for leading and managing continuous improvement processes including the Perrigo Work System while instilling a culture of accountability.
- Lead & facilitate problem-solving efforts to improve quality, lead-time and eliminate waste in all areas throughout the factory. Instil a “hands-on” systematic approach to problem solving.
- Assists in the design of new equipment layouts, setups and timing employing Lean and Six Sigma principles.
- Works closely with the European CI lead, wider CI organisation and external consultants to identify, share and replicate best practices.
- Engage manufacturing teams in continuous improvement processes to ensure all projects are identified, prioritized and implemented in a timely and effective manner.
- Facilitates the development of the PWS Site Master Plan
- Performs on-going PWS reviews / audits to ensure best practice and to identify opportunities for improvement
- Track daily, weekly, monthly and yearly KPI’s included updating OEE, A3 and other key metrics / dashboards

**Erfahrung erforderlich**:

- BS Qualification in Engineering or Science discipline
- 3-5 years minimum progressive experience implementing Lean practices (LSS) including working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma-Based continuous improvement methods
- Knowledge of multiple reliability equipment methods (i.e. TPM, FMEA, MTBF, MTBR, Design of Experiment, Fish Bone Analysis, 8D, etc.)
- Ability to deliver presentations and lead team kaizen events.
- Ability to organize, manage and control workflow; ability to meet deadlines
- Project Management
- Ability to function within cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated communication skills
- Be an effective problem solver
- Well versed in MS Office. Knowledge of Visio & MS Project preferred
- Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification
- Strong influencing skills both at an individual and team level
