Do you have experience at a game studio working as a Producer, and are you looking for your next career move? One of the fastest-growing publishers in Europe is looking for a skilled and collaborative producer to help their team create a new dark sci-fi single player title. The role is based in Offenburg, Germany, offering an excellent salary and benefits package.
Working with this studio will provide the freedom and culture of an independent studio with the financial security of a big publisher. They are an international team and foster diversity. You will manage one or more aspects of the projects, working collaboratively with team leads to build roadmaps for features, identifying key success criteria, dependencies, and risks, implementing workflows, troubleshooting communication, and helping teams deliver on time and in quality.
Some of your primary duties as a Game Producer will include:
- Preparing and tracking schedules and identifying risks and opportunities
- Making sure communication flows on time and on target
- Prioritizing teams’ work and deliverables regarding the constraints and goals
- Helping implement and improve production pipelines, design, and communication techniques, ensuring these processes are followed up with on time
- Helping coordinate across the development team and supporting other non-game development endeavours, such as play-testing sessions, interviews, key asset provision etc
- Outstanding group communication skills with a proven ability to work within a team in English
- Proactive project and people management skills in a multicultural environment
- Experience in documentation and communication workflows
- Experience in Agile or Waterfall development methodologies and tools and a keen ability to prioritize tasks and issues in relation to goals and constraints
- Experience with complex action games or know-how of the Unreal engine would be beneficial
