WHAT WE OFFER
We offer an up-to six months internship (Start Apr. 2023) during which you conduct your master thesis with intensive and qualified supervision. It is the continuation of several successfully conducted master theses within Covestro Business Entity Coatings and Adhesives.
Master Thesis: “Challenges of post-merger-integration as a result of corporate carve-outs.”
Develop yourself and discover how you can contribute to pushing the boundaries in the field of successful corporate takeovers and M&A strategies.- You will analyze the willingness of employee to change as indicator of post-merger-integration performance and attempt to identify suitable measures to optimize the impact at Covestro- Review of Covestro’s existing approaches to mitigating employee resistance to change in order to successfully integrate a new acquired business unit- Provide literature based outside-in view on employee resistance to changes resulting from corporate carve-outs and its effects integration performance- Develop a concept how to make use of the identified solutions tailored to the needs of Covestro´s employees during the integration phase of corporate mergers
WHAT YOU OFFER- You are an enrolled Business & Economics master student (M/F/d) with above average results- You have a strong interest and (ideally) a professional background in the field of Mergers & Acquisitions- You show good self-organization and a high degree of self-initiative- Your command of English is fluent, both written and spoken
