Summary

We are looking for an “Industrial Mechanic / Mechatronics Technician (f/m/d)” for the “Handheld Optronics” division at the Wetzlar site as soon as possible.

In the “Handheld Optronics” division, riflescopes, target optics and optronic equipment such as residual light and thermal imaging clip-on systems as well as fire control systems for hand-held weapons, but also unstabilized periscopes for armored vehicles and calibration technology for artillery are developed and manufactured.

Your Tasks- Pre-assembly and final assembly of assemblies and devices- Selection of measuring and testing equipment for intermediate and final testing- Disassembly of repair equipment- Repair of assemblies and devices- Carrying out final inspections and quality assurance- Completion of test reports- Cleaning, assembly, adjustment and tuning of optics- Collaboration in the continuous improvement process

Your Profile- Completed vocational training as an industrial mechanic or similar- Experience in the assembly of optical, mechanical devices advantageous- Good basic PC skills (SAP and Excel)- Ability to work independently and in a team- High willingness to learn as well as resilience and flexibility- Very good knowledge of German
