Our mission is to create the next generation of meat alternatives, starting with whole-cut meat products grown naturally from fungal mycelium. We aim to create better-than-meat products that deliver on the entire taste experience, nutrition, and price of traditional meat without compromise.
Founded in 2020, Bosque Foods is the first European fungi-based meat alternative company focusing entirely on the whole-cut meat segment. After graduating from the world’s leading biotech accelerator program, IndieBio in New York City, we have now opened our lab in Berlin, Germany.
Tasks
We currently have an opening for an internship to assist the R&D Team in our fermentation lab.
**Role & Responsibilities**:
- Assist the R&D team in executing benchtop fermentation trials
- Help clean lab equipment and fermentation vessels
- Maintain the lab and benchtop equipment
- Perform analytical measurements to support the research and development of our process
**Requirements**:
- Currently enrolled in or recent graduate from a Bachelor's or Master's program
- Good English, speaking and writing skills
- Proactive, reliable and detail-oriented
- Some experience working in a Biotechnology lab
- Ideally able to start in May
- Compulsory internship/Mandatory internship from a university is preferred
- Interest in fermentation and/or fungi is a plus
