**About this Role**:
Based in San Francisco with offices in Stuttgart, Germany, Shaper was founded in 2012 with a mission of making precision cutting easy and accessible to craftspeople everywhere, beginning first with a handheld CNC router called Origin. Today, Shaper supports thousands of woodworkers and craftspeople around the globe with the simple approach of developing tools to meet users' needs, rather than expecting users to conform to the tools.

We are looking for **Logistics Support Specialist** to join our global Operations team.

As a Logistics Support Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in the seamless execution of our logistics and fulfillment processes. You will be responsible for managing daily operations, ensuring efficient communication with carriers, and addressing any logístical challenges that arise. This role demands a proactive approach to maintain and enhance our logistics operations, ensuring that our products are delivered timely and accurately to our customers.

You will join the team at Shaper GmbH, located in the vibrant area of Leinfelden-Echterdingen, Germany with flexibility for remote work.

**Your mission**:

- Oversee daily logistics operations, coordinating with carriers like UPS, DHL, and FedEx to ensure prompt and efficient delivery of shipments
- Act as the main liaison for carriers and logistics partners, fostering strong relationships through proficient communication skills in both German and English
- Ensure accurate data entry and upkeep within our ERP system and Shopify, maintaining data integrity to support business operations
- Manage compliance with EU recycling regulations and other relevant laws, including preparation and submission of necessary reports (Deutsche Recycling, Intrastatmeldung)
- Continuously evaluate and refine logistics and fulfillment processes to enhance efficiency, cut costs, and elevate customer satisfaction
- Create SOPs for new processes or temporary work processes on site as needed
- Work directly with our warehouse partners (North America and EU) to ensure the smooth flow of goods from around the world

**Your profile**:

- You have a apprenticeship or a bachelor degree in logistics or blow us away with your experience
- You are fluent in German and English, with strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Minimum of 1-2 years experience in logistics or supply chain management, with a robust background in transport business or logistics management
- You thrive handling multiple tasks simultaneously, are able to prioritize and excel in a fast paced environment
- You have a knowledge of regulatory compliance related to logistics and shipping internationally and how to quickly and effectively navigate them
- You are comfortable using ERP systems and familiar with Shopify or similar eCommerce platforms
- You are detail oriented, you can follow processes and improve upon them, and you are able to operate with a certain amount of ambiguity
- Capable of working both independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on problem-solving
