The **Faculty of Computer Science, Electrical Engineering and Mathematics** - Department of Computer Science/Data Science Junior Research Group - offers a full-time position as

**Research Assistant (f/m/d)**
(Salary group E 13 TV-L)

starting as soon as possible. This is a qualification position in the sense of the Wissenschaftszeitvertragsgesetz (WissZeitVG), which serves to support a PhD project in the field of **Explainable Artificial Intelligence**. The position is limited in time for the duration of the doctoral process, depending on the qualification achieved so far, but usually for a period of 3 years. An extension to complete the doctorate may be possible within the limits set by the WissZeitVG.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Research in Explainable Artificial Intelligence
- This includes the development of scalable approaches for explaining machine learning models on large knowledge graphs
- Teaching for 4 hours per week

**Your profile**:

- Master’s degree in computer science or a related field
- Profound knowledge in machine learning
- Programming skills in Python
- Prior knowledge of explainable machine learning, machine learning with graphs, knowledge graphs, and reinforcement learning is a plus
- Very good knowledge of English
