INTEC Energy Solutions offers its valued customers best-in-class Engineering, Procurement, Construction (EPC), BESS, Development, Consultancy, Operation & Maintenance services, and new energy solutions.
Utilizing the expertise of a global workforce, INTEC establishes itself as a prominent player, handling over 180 projects globally and achieving a significant installed and secured capacity of 3.1 GWp. INTEC manages its operations from its headquarter in Germany and has offices in Turkey, Romania, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Italy, Azerbaijan, Mauritius, and continue to expand.
As an international company, we are looking for a Business Development Director.
**Responsibilities**:
- **Partnership Development**: Identify new business opportunities in the German market, establish strategic partnerships, and increase the company’s market share.
- **Market Strategy**: Analyze the dynamics of the German market and develop strategies to strengthen the company’s position and competitive advantage.
- **Project Planning and Coordination**: Plan successful projects using critical thinking skills and ensure their successful execution.
- **Market Research**: Monitor regulations, innovative practices, and developments in the German solar and BESS energy sector; analyze market trends.
- **Customer Relationship Management**: Engage with potential customers to create new opportunities, generate requests for quotations (RFQs), and develop proposals.
- **Proposal Preparation and Negotiation**: Coordinate the proposal preparation process, determine appropriate pricing levels, and manage commercial negotiations to ensure profitable project completion.
- **Project Monitoring**: Coordinate the handover of awarded projects to operational teams and manage the commercial aspects of ongoing projects in collaboration with the project manager.
- **Internal Approval Process**: Participate in the internal bid approval process, gather relevant information, and contribute to continuous improvement of the bidding process.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Propose actions and contribute to improving internal processes and proposal preparation.
- **Other Duties**: Perform other duties as assigned to achieve the company’s goals.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 4+ years of experience in the German solar energy sector, with a total of 6+ years of business development experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with excellent negotiation abilities.
- Proven experience in executing successful business development strategies.
- In-depth knowledge of market regulations, sector trends, and innovative practices in Germany.
- Ability to engage directly with clients, third parties, and internal departments while prioritizing profitability.
- Goal-oriented, result-driven, and possess strong leadership skills.
- Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English; advanced proficiency in German is must.
