Berlin, Deutschland Wayfair Vollzeit

We’re on the lookout for a strong junior designer for Wayfair who can help us shape the look and feel of our brand in Europe. The role reports into a strong Brand Design Lead, and will involve rolling out designs for everything from on-site assets, to social media, to brand awareness campaigns and more. The role is based in the Wayfair Berlin offices - Monday to Thursday in office, Friday remote.

Your work will be seen by millions and contribute to the visual evolution of our brand. The role requires a skilled, meticulous, and motivated designer who can partner with both creatives and cross-functional partners. You know how to bring fresh ideas and inspiration to design projects and fully embrace the various dimensions of the brand, products, customer segments, and markets.

**Responsibilities**:

- Follow brand guidelines and direction and design a high volume of omni-channel advertising campaigns and where applicable help conceptualize and evolve brand identity
- Participate in collaborative brainstorms, concept development, and presentations with creative peers and cross-functional partners
- Possess an analytical, creative, and innovative approach to solving problems - taking data and results on board to improve executions.
- Be a vocal contributor, an organized team player, and willing to pitch in on additional projects.
- Uphold a high level of design aesthetic across all channels.
- Fluency in English. We speak English at work, but design for UK and German markets
- Can do attitude and willing to test and learn and try new things.

**Qualifications**:

- 1-3 years of experience
- Great technical skills - in both motion and design, with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite - Sketch proficiency would be a bonus.
- Strong typography, and layout design skills
- Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and creative problem-solving skills
- Confident in abilities and able to articulate ideas and opinions
- Organized and able to produce quality work in a fast-paced atmosphere
- Always seeking knowledge in design, art, and technology, and stays up to date on current trends
- Have an enthusiastic and flexible work ethic with a sense of humor

To be considered you must have an online portfolio. Your work should demonstrate a strong eye for design, a respect for brand standards—both following and creating them. Your portfolio should exhibit a love of experimentation and a command of available technology.
