**Head of Connect & Engage Employees (D/F/M)**:
The Airbus internal communications department, called “Connect & Engage Employees”, is accountable for protecting and promoting the Airbus brand by supporting the company’s top

communications objectives by engaging with employees and leaders. The team uses channels like physical and digital events, social intranet (desktop and mobile), digital signage and mass mailing to inform and engage with their audiences

The position reports operationally to the Head of Connect & Engage Employees Airbus (Toulouse, France) and functionally to the Head of Communications Airbus Defence and Space (Ottobrunn, Germany).

This role is also available with reduced weekly hours and an adapted scope of tasks.

**Your tasks and responsibilities**
- Leading a team of internal communications professionals spread over Europe, incl. budget responsibility
- Designing and implementing an internal communications strategy, specifically for Airbus Defence and Space (AD) audiences and taking into account division specifics
- Delivering audience-centric internal communications in Airbus Defencd and Space, in line with the Airbus Communications Strategic Focus Themes and the divisional communications strategy and plan. This includes designing and delivering dialogue formats, editorial and audio-visual assets in collaboration with other communications teams in Airbus
- Ensuring the coordination and consistency of the internal communications plan within AD (programme lines, functions, sites) and Airbus, with the focus on simplicity and agility
- Providing senior advice and support on internal communications to the AD HO Communications and if needed, to the AD Executive Committee
- Driving continuous improvement and innovation with regards to new approaches and formats to improve the reach and impact of internal communications; all in an environment of increasing news, omni-channels and decreasing boundaries between internal and external communications
- Driving performance management of Airbus Defence and Space internal communications channels and campaigns/assets. Regularly measures and adapts accordingly
- Being responsible for the internal communications process of Airbus Defence and Space
- Being the internal comms focal point for all crisis communications in AIrbus Defence and Space

**Desired skills and qualifications**
- You are educated to a degree in communication, politics, literature or a similar field of study
- You have proven track record in conceptualising and executing creative communication campaigns / formats
- You have a strong experience in Corporate Communications
- You have a strong experience in stakeholder management, esp. with C-level
- You have a strong experience in transformation and change management
- You have proven experience in leading an international team
- You have continuous Improvement and Innovation mindset
- You have proven track record in digital communications, channels and formats; ideally strong experience in social media
- You have good facilitation and moderation skills
- You have good copy-writing skills
- You speak german as a native Speaker and excellent English (understanding Spanish or French would be a plus)
