To support the tuning, regulation, voicing, polishing and overall preparation of Yamaha pianos at our headquarters in Rellingen near Hamburg, Germany we are looking for a

PIANO TECHNICIAN (M/F/X)

Your duties:

- Supporting piano preparation of new pianos including tuning, voicing, regulation, repairs, piano action refurbishing, and general maintenance including polishing
- Supporting the preparation of selection pianos to ensure a good standard
- Providing recommendations and support for the optimal maintenance and long-term care, and oversight of the departmental piano inventory
- Developing your skills constantly by taking part in trainings within Yamaha Europe and Japan where required
- Ensuring the overall operation of piano service department
- Providing support and training to piano technicians associated with Yamaha

Your profile:

- Relevant experience in the technical care for Pianos, e. g. tuning, voicing, regulation, repairs, and general maintenance including polishing
- Understanding of Yamaha Upright and Grand Pianos and passion for high-quality instruments
- Consumer-oriented style of working and excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Willingness to take part in regular trainings by Yamaha Europe and Yamaha Japan and occasional travel to support dealers and end consumers
- Driving license of advantage, but not mandatory
